What is a loose or attached writing shield?

The writing shield is a thick piece of card that is either attached or supplied loosely. The attached writing shields are sometimes referred to as hinged or fixed writing shields. If you do not require attached writing shields then we will offer loose writing shields which are free of charge with your NCR printing order. This can be placed under the NCR pad or book to to make it easy to write on and ensures it does not copy onto other sets.
